The Path Out of Poverty programme (POP) is a unique rural-community development programme that helps impoverished children break free from the damaging cycles of poverty that have trapped rural families for generations.

The Path Out of Poverty formula is simple and long term. We stick with our children from newborn until they’re self-sufficient young adults. Our 3 golden keys are Education, Health and Personal Development.

For £10 a month, put a child on the Path Out of Poverty.

£1 per week = 2 olive trees / year, with your name on them!

How the Path Out of Poverty programme works

We have a two pronged strategy to keep the Path Out of Poverty (POP) programme going. The first part of the strategy is to keep the present children who are on the POP financed and this we do through sponsorships. The second part of the strategy is to plant olive trees on a farm in the Western Cape Province of South Africa called Goedgedacht (which means ‘Good Ideas’ in Dutch). You can help us by sponsoring a child or by planting an olive tree.

Health – Children require food, shelter, warmth and basic hygiene for healthy development.
Education – Keeping children in school.
Personal Development – Children need to be taught values and social skills.
Care for the Earth – Living in harmony with nature.

Food Voucher Appeal

We don’t deserve you, your generosity for the food voucher appeal has been awesome! The food voucher cards are winging their way to us from the Grow Peace office in Ipswich. This is the perfect moment to be handing out these food vouchers because many of the families that will be benefiting from this are not working at the moment, the harvests are over, and the pruning has been completed.
