The incredible “Potato Run”

…help us fuel a project that is feeding hungry tummies every day!

It costs us £65 in diesel and wear and tear to collect a truck load of potatoes that feed150 children everyday.

Would you be willing to donate £15 towards the diesel to keep our potato run going?

In the POP youth centre kitchen volunteers get to work unpacking, washing and chopping the potatoes. The potatoes are made into toppings for cottage pies or mixed in with stews and soups. What is left of the veggies are packed into packets to be sold for as little as 50 pence to poor families in the community.

The money from these packets will go into keeping Jattie’s truck on the road. Children at the POP centre enjoy a hot meal with potatoes to fill their hungry tummies!
